30-Day Action Plan for New Volunteer

(a) Kickoff Meeting with Mentor (FWD Party Presentation, review of checklist, Mentor facilitates onboarding activities)

(b) Bi-weekly meeting with Mentor scheduled (Review Checklist)

(c) Join Slack (Access will be granted upon completion of initial meeting and approval).

(d) Foundational Learning Exercises:

(e) Meet with an ExCo Member (learn about our OKRs and how your efforts makes a difference)

(f) Identify elected officials (NC House, NC Senate, US House, US Senate, Mayor, County Commissioner, etc.)

• Schedule 1-2 meetings with one of your elected officials, invite an ExCo member to join.

(g) Support petitioning efforts to help us gain ballot access (obtain 3+ signatures for Ballot Access and mail signature sheet) Learn more

(h) Field Shadow assignment (support a public event or meet with mentor, ExCo member)

(i) Support outreach and awareness (have 3 or more people sign-up to our website to learn more about the Forward Party)
