The Forward Party began as a national movement to challenge the toxic polarization that dominates our politics. Here in North Carolina, we saw the same extreme polarization and division playing out at the state level. In 2022, a group of independents and former Democrats and Republicans came together to build a new kind of political home—one focused on what unites us.
We’re growing fast, and we're bringing together people from all walks of life who are tired of being told they have to choose between the “lesser of two evils.” We believe it's time to choose something better—the greater good.

We’re building a new kind of politics—one that puts people over partisanship and solutions over ideology. As we fight for ballot access across the country, we want to know: Will you stand with us when a Forward candidate is on your ballot?
Pledging your support isn't just about one election—it’s a declaration of independence from the broken two-party system. It’s a stand for political innovation, common-sense leadership, and the reformation our democracy so desperately needs. The future is Forward. Are you in?
