Join us in honoring Juneteenth, the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States. The Juneteenth Freedom Festival is a day of reflection, celebration, and community, recognizing the significance of June 19, 1865—when the last enslaved African Americans in Texas were informed of their freedom, over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
This festival will feature live music and dance performances, cultural exhibits, community-owned vendors and food trucks, interactive art installations, and family-friendly activities that highlight the history, resilience, and brilliance of the Black community. Educational booths and guest speakers will offer deeper insight into the ongoing journey toward equity and justice.
Come celebrate freedom, heritage, and unity through a powerful blend of history, culture, and joy.
